Here is
Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company. A company which is responsible for supplying
petrochemical companies located in PET. Zone with vital energy. It should be
mentioned that electricity power, water, air and other essential services are
considered as a part of products which this company provides to its customers.
Consequently, stopping production of these products for a moment can cause irreparable
damage to petrochemical industry.
We go to
Power Plant of Fajr 1, Turbine No. 13, which produces 117 MW of electricity;
according to turbine operating hours and its conditions, as well as its
manufacturer’s instructions and roadmap, this turbine must be overhauled now;
experienced experts and workers started to take
appropriate actions and prepared the turbine to be overhauled on January 18th,
2020.
On January
18th, fifty working days were finished after starting the overhaul
of the above – mentioned turbine by experts and workers and it is going to be
run now. This overhaul has been done in four stages including turbine,
generator, combustion chamber and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). In
total, the overhaul of these parts has been carried out with opening and
closing of more than 2000 parts and in 4264 man – hours.
These
overhauls included visits, measuring, doing appropriate tests, replacing parts
and modifying settings; required parts have been purchased with more than 4
million euros and replaced in these overhauls; moreover, reconstructing of
those parts which could be reformed was done by Iranian companies.
In order
to launch and overhaul this turbine, experienced experts and workers of this
company could run the turbine at the specified time to maintain stable
production conditions at the height of Coronavirus Outbreak and during New
Year’s holidays.
These overhauls
are part of the roadmap of Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company, which has been
created with the intention of maintaining the continuity of production and
creating maximum efficiency.
This roadmap has been compiled in the form of a comprehensive 7-year
plan for overhauling power plants of
this company in 2018 and would be continued until 2024. Two years after this
