The inauguration and farewell ceremony for the CEOs of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf was held on Saturday, September 6, in the company’s conference hall. The event was attended by Mr. Shojaei Borhan, Advisor to the CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), along with the Group’s Head of Security, Head of Public Relations & Branding, as well as a number of managers, heads of departments, and supervisors from Fajr Energy Persian Gulf.
During the ceremony, appreciation was expressed for the eight years of effective service and successful leadership of Engineer Ali Zalkhani, whose tenure played a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and ensuring the stable production of the company. Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ahmadzadeh was formally introduced as the new CEO of the company.
In his address, outgoing CEO Ali Zalkhani reflected on his 24‑year career at Fajr Energy, expressing deep gratitude for the dedication and loyalty of the employees and managers he had worked with:
“The greatest asset of my service was the commitment, responsibility, and expertise of colleagues who—eight consecutive years without interruption—shouldered the vital mission of supplying electricity and infrastructure services to the region’s large petrochemical industries.”
Highlighting production sustainability as the company’s primary brand value, he pointed to key initiatives implemented under his leadership, including achieving a 93% rate of water recycling and advancing plans for the power plant’s conversion to a combined‑cycle system—both significant steps towards higher efficiency. He wished the new management success in continuing the company’s growth and progress.
In his speech, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ahmadzadeh thanked the Board of Directors of PGPIC for their trust, identifying honesty, teamwork, and a focus on human capital as the three cornerstones of his management philosophy:
