At a ceremony honoring exemplary workers of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company, CEO Ali Zal-Khani stated that the success of the Fajr brand—and consequently the stability of industrial production—has been achieved thanks to the commitment and hard work of the company’s employees and workers.
According to the Public Relations Office, on Wednesday, April 30, a ceremony marking International Workers’ Day was held at the prayer hall of Zone 2, with the participation of the CEO, department heads, and a group of workers.
At the opening of the event, Mohammad Mohassen, workers’ representative of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company, reviewed measures taken in the labor sector and said: “The Human Resources Department, with the support of the company’s management, has successfully implemented important projects for workers, such as compensation plans, payment of arrears, and more.”
Ali Zal-Khani, CEO of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company, expressed his appreciation for the efforts and patience of the workers, stating: “The success of the Fajr brand—and, in turn, the stability of industrial production—rests on the dedication and hard work of this company’s workforce.”
Emphasizing the value of mutual trust between management and employees, adherence to legal rights, and prioritizing staff welfare and satisfaction, he added: “All employee issues and concerns will be addressed fairly and within the framework of the law.”
Highlighting the company’s important role in the value chain of the petrochemical industry, the CEO assured that there is no concern regarding the enforcement of labor laws or the payment of salaries and benefits, stressing that management’s constant priority is to protect the rights of all employees and safeguard the company’s human capital. He also encouraged staff to actively participate in skills and sports competitions, noting the company’s readiness to provide financial support for such events.
Zal-Khani reiterated that the company’s success is the result of collective effort and staff cohesion, stating that his goal is to enhance trust, improve working conditions, and foster stronger team spirit across the organization. He concluded by expressing hope that in the years ahead, the ceremony would be held with even greater enthusiasm and success.
The event continued with the recognition of 20 exemplary workers from various departments, each receiving a cash prize and an honorary plaque. In addition, winners of six sports competitions held throughout the week were also honored. The International Workers’ Day celebration at Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company is held annually, featuring the acknowledgment of outstanding workers by the CEO and department heads.
