The ninth round of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) audit, based on ISO 27001 standards, began on the morning of Saturday, April 12, and was held over four days at Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company.
According to the Public Relations Department of Fajr Energy Persian Gulf, this audit was conducted with the aim of obtaining certification for various units, including Information Technology, Strategic Studies, Power Plants, Air Separation, and Dispatching, in accordance with the latest 2022 revision of the standard.
The process was carried out to maintain and enhance the security of the organization’s information assets, as well as to assess the performance of departments in areas such as confidentiality, accuracy, precision, availability, and integrity of information.
In today’s world, an organization’s information and data are regarded as its most important intangible assets, and protecting and preserving these assets holds exceptional importance and value for any organization.
Since 2015, Fajr Energy Persian Gulf has safeguarded these valuable assets through the implementation of an information security management system based on ISO 27001.
