MAHSHAHR (FEPG) -- Fajr Energy Persian Gulf Company (FEPG) has been bestowed with the prestigious Golden Statue for Outstanding Innovation for its Soluble Silica Measurement Project at the 8th National Innovation Festival of Iran, recognized as the top innovation of the year 1402, which ended on March 21.
According to the public relations department of FEPG, the 8th National
Innovation Festival of Iran, organized by Sharif University of Technology in
collaboration with governmental bodies and major industrial companies, aimed at
fostering economic development through knowledge-based endeavors, national
production enhancement, and support for Iranian innovations.
This festival seeks to highlight and select the top Iranian
innovations in four categories: product innovation, service innovation, process
innovation, and business innovation, providing a platform for industrious
individuals and businesses to showcase their contributions to industry and
commerce.
FEPG participated in this event by presenting its Soluble Silica Measurement
Project, which was rigorously evaluated by experts from Sharif University, who
conducted comprehensive assessments across various facets of the process.
Following meticulous evaluations, the Soluble Silica Measurement
Project, previously nationally registered by FEPG's laboratory, was recognized
as the top Iranian innovation of the year 1402.
Laboratory experts, over the past years, have continuously enhanced
the Soluble Silica Measurement Method (ASTM D-859) to meet stringent health
considerations regarding chemical substances, thereby improving test accuracy
through scholarly research, technical examinations, and quality control tests.
Following the confirmation of competence by the Iranian National
Accreditation Center, the proposal for national standardization was made.
The process of national standard registration, which commenced in late
1400, involved a complex and time-consuming cycle, initiated by the submission
of requests and correspondences with the National Standards Organization,
followed by compliance with stipulated requirements, submission of result
reports, documentation, and more. Technical commission meetings were convened
to review and finalize the standard after which the company's method was
officially registered as a national standard.
It's worth noting that the new method, initially proposed by FEPG's
laboratory staff through the company's creativity and suggestion system, has
now been recognized as a novel innovation by Sharif University.
The Technology Development and Innovation Center of Sharif University
has undertaken the role of the innovation assessment secretariat, implementing
and executing innovation clinics in over 150 large Iranian companies across
various industries over the past seven years.
These clinics aim to scrutinize research, development, and innovation
processes within large companies to ensure the effective implementation of
innovative management systems, fostering the cultivation and development of new
and attractive ideas that can enhance companies' competitiveness in the
industry.
