Water Resource Management Committee of Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company has saved 870,000 cubic meters of water
870,000 cubic meters of water has been saved by Water Resource Management Committee of Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company since July last year.

As reported by Public Relations, freshwater of river is one of the feeds of the petrochemical companies based in PET. Zone, which is of great importance due to summer droughts and increasing salinity of river water in this season.

For this reason, Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company formed Water Resource Management Committee with the purpose of managing and saving water. In fact, this committee has been formed in keeping with saving water consumption, defining projects to prevent water leaks, prioritizing requests to purchase water equipment, and reducing wastewater.

This Water Resource Management Committee has been set up since the beginning of July 2018 and would be held twice a month with the presence of managers of different departments and chaired by the General Manager of the company; 28 sessions have been held since the beginning of forming this committee. It should be noted that the next meeting will be held on 24 February 2020.

Since its forming, the committee has saved more than 870,000 cubic meters of water and saves more than 87 cubic meters of raw and recycled water per hour; The committee also saved more than 302,000 cubic meters of water last year.
